The Range Rover Autobiography Black - 40th Anniversary Limited Edition
Fortunately, Land Rover has decided that they won’t stick a badge on the back of this new Limited Edition Range Rover which says ‘Range Rover Autobiography Black 40th Anniversary Limited Edition’. Because even the not exactly small Range Rover isn’t big enough to carry a badge of that size off with any degree of aplomb. So the badges – dotted around inside and out – simply say ‘Autobiography Black’.

General Motors will unveil a European concept car built on its radical new E-Flex platform at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The concept will feature radical styling, with a diesel engine acting as a generator for the concept’s electric motor. And General Motors is believed to be collaborating with urban electric scooter manufacturer Segway; the unnamed concept may be able to carry one or more of the £4000, gyroscope-controlled devices for use in town once you’ve parked.
Maserati has released photos of their new coupe, the GranTurismo, in advance of its unveiling at Geneva next week. Designed by Pininfarina, the sketches also circulating were by Jason Castriota who penned the Maserati Birdcage concept shown in Geneva in 2005, before it turned heads at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that year. There is affinity between the two designs, and a more aggressive look than the current car designed by ItalDesign.
